This September, we’re launching the 2mins Founding Schools Programme: a 12-week pilot giving schools free access to the 2mins schools platform while helping us shape the future of financial education.
Since launching the 2mins mobile app earlier this year, we’ve been delighted by the number of teachers who have asked whether students could use the platform in school. That feedback has inspired us to develop a dedicated schools version, including desktop access, teacher insights and school leaderboards.
Now we’re looking for a small group of Founding Schools to help us test, refine and improve the platform ahead of a wider schools launch in 2027.
What is 2mins?
2mins is a gamified financial education platform that transforms dry, complex money topics into short interactive storyboards and games.
Each activity takes around two minutes to complete and covers real-life topics including payslips, pensions, investing, scams and financial wellbeing.
Students earn XP, build learning streaks, unlock badges and compete on their school’s leaderboard as they progress.
What’s included?
Participating schools will receive:
- Free access desktop, tablet and mobile access to the 2mins schools platform throughout the Autumn Term pilot
- Teacher onboarding guidance and resources
- School leaderboards
- A personalised engagement report at the end of the programme
Throughout the pilot we’ll also ask schools for feedback so we can continue developing the platform around the needs of teachers and students.
Who is it for?
The pilot is currently open to students in Years 10-13 (KS4 and KS5).
Schools are free to decide how they use the platform, whether during PSHE, tutor time, as homework or alongside existing careers and financial education provision.
