  • where you access 2mins through a school, college or educational institution, we may collect information such as your school name, school email address, year group, gameplay activity and leaderboard participation in order to provide school-specific functionality and educational reporting

Where a user accesses 2mins through a participating school, college or educational institution, information relating to platform usage, gameplay activity, leaderboard participation and engagement may be used to:

  • administer school-specific features and leaderboards
  • provide participation and engagement reporting to authorised school staff for the administration of school programmes and educational activities
  • evaluate participation and educational outcomes
  • improve the effectiveness of the platform

Any reporting provided to schools will be limited to information necessary for the administration and evaluation of the programme.

We take your privacy seriously and we will only ever collect and use information which is personal to you where it is necessary, fair and lawful to do so. We will collect and use your information only where:

  • it’s necessary to provide the service you have requested, such as creating an account or responding to an enquiry

  • automated backup procedures
  • role-based access controls where appropriate

We continually review our security arrangements and may implement additional security measures as the platform develops.
