2mins was created by father–daughter duo Chris and Emily Boxall.
Chris has spent decades working in investment management and financial communications, while Emily brings a background in marketing, journalism and creative storytelling. Together, they kept coming back to the same question: Why is financial education still so boring?
That question led to 2mins: a new approach to learning built around bite-sized content, games and memorable analogies designed to help people build confidence one small step at a time.
Chris is an experienced investment manager and technology investor with decades of experience demystifying complex financial concepts for wider audiences.
After years working in finance, he became increasingly frustrated by how inaccessible financial communication had become, particularly around pensions and investing. That frustration eventually became 2mins.
Emily leads the creative direction of 2mins, combining storytelling, humour and visual learning to make financial education feel more engaging and approachable.
With a background in marketing, journalism and content creation, she is passionate about helping more people feel confident discussing money without jargon or intimidation.
